How do I know if you’re the right therapist for me?

If you’re looking for a therapist who is warm, human, nonjudgmental, trauma-informed, and collaborative, we’ll likely be a great fit. I work from a person-centered, humanistic approach and believe you are already whole, not broken or needing to be fixed. A consultation can help you feel into whether it’s the right fit.

What if I’ve never been to therapy before?

You’re welcome here; nerves and all. You don’t need to know what to say or where to start. We move step by step, at a pace that feels safe and supportive for you.

How long will I be in therapy?

There’s no set timeline. Everyone’s journey is different. We move at your pace, guided by your goals, your readiness, and what feels sustainable and supportive for you.

What is your cancellation policy?

Sessions must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or missed sessions may be subject to a fee, as session times are reserved specifically for you.

Do you offer in-person sessions?

At this time, services are provided via telehealth. Limited phone sessions may be available in certain circumstances such as illness or travel.

How is confidentiality handled?

Your privacy is deeply respected. Therapy sessions and records are confidential, with limited legal exceptions related to safety and legal requirements.

What if I need support between sessions?

You’re always welcome to reach out to me between sessions if you need support, clarity, or grounding. I’ll respond as soon as I’m able and will assist where I can. If you’re experiencing an emergency or feel unsafe, please follow emergency protocols and contact 911, go to your nearest emergency room, or reach out to local emergency services right away.
